Avika Gor’s latest film is the Telugu romantic thriller Ugly Story. Released on 22 May 2026 and directed by Pranava Swaroop, the movie stars her as Neha opposite Nandu. It looks at the darker side of relationships—manipulation, gaslighting and domestic violence—without softening the subject.

During the shoot Avika said she felt uncomfortable on set for the first time in her career because of the demands of the character. Her performance is quiet but intense; the film relies more on atmosphere and her reactions than on long dialogues.

After a modest theatrical run, Ugly Story found a much larger audience on OTT. By July 2026 it had crossed 8.1 million views and become the second most-watched Telugu film on streaming platforms that year. Avika later said she was glad a content-driven story continued to travel after its cinema release.

She has not announced a new feature film since then. In August 2026 she appeared on Khatron Ke Khiladi 15 and was eliminated early. She has spoken about choosing only performance-heavy roles rather than decorative parts.
