Srinidhi Shetty, who first became a pan-India name as Reena in Prashanth Neel’s *KGF* films, has quietly rebuilt her career in Telugu cinema over the last two years. After a long gap following *Cobra* (2022), she returned in 2025 with two back-to-back releases that showed a sharper, more grounded screen presence. The first of those was *HIT: The Third Case*, Sailesh Kolanu’s action thriller that hit theatres on 1 May 2025. Opposite Nani, she played ASP Mrudula IPS and also took an assistant director credit. The film became one of the stronger Telugu performers of the year and gave her a clean, high-visibility comeback. Her second 2025 film, *Telusu Kada*, released on 17 October. Directed by Neeraja Kona, it paired her with Siddhu Jonnalagadda and Raashii Khanna. She played Dr. Raaga Kumar, an IVF specialist, and several reviews singled out her work in the flashback and emotional stretches. Together, the two films moved her away from the single “KGF heroine” tag and into regular Telugu lead conversations. Her next confirmed theatrical release is Trivikram Srinivas’s family entertainer *Aadarsha Kutumbam House No: 47 – AK 47*, locked for 2 October 2026. She plays Swarna, wife of Venkatesh Daggubati’s Chittibabu. Character-introduction videos dropped in late July 2026 and positioned her as the film’s domestic centre. Produced by S. Radha Krishna under Haarika & Hassine Creations, with music by Thaman S, the project is her biggest mainstream Telugu pairing so far. Reports in mid-August 2026 also suggested she had begun shooting a Kannada film in Kumta with the Bhandari brothers, described as a Sandalwood return. The title was not widely locked on major listings at the time. Separate earlier rumours linking her to Ram Pothineni’s directorial debut *RAPO23* did not firm up; later coverage pointed elsewhere for that female lead. *KGF: Chapter 3* remains in early development, and any return as Reena is still unconfirmed.
