Complete biography of actress Bhagyashri Borse – early life in Maharashtra and Nigeria, modelling career, Cadbury ad fame, film debuts in Bollywood and South Indian cinema, awards, and latest projects including Kingdom, Kaantha and Lenin.

Bhagyashri Borse, born on 6 May 1999 in Aurangabad (now Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar), Maharashtra, is an Indian actress and former model. She hails from a Maharashtrian Hindu family; her father Dilip Bhalchandra Borse is an engineer and her mother is Rajashree Dilip Borse. She has one elder sister. The family faced financial hardships after her birth when her father lost his job, an experience that later fueled her drive to succeed and support her parents. During her childhood, the family relocated to Lagos, Nigeria, for about seven years due to her father’s work. She completed much of her schooling there at an Indian school and has spoken positively about the cultural exposure. After returning to India, she pursued a degree in Business Management (BMS) in Mumbai while beginning a modelling career around the age of 18 with the agency Inega. She gained early recognition through commercials, most notably a popular Cadbury Dairy Milk Silk advertisement. Her acting journey started with cameo appearances in Hindi films: *Yaariyan 2* (2023) as Raajlaxmi Cariappa and *Chandu Champion* (2024) as journalist Nayantara opposite Kartik Aaryan. These roles helped her transition into full-fledged acting. Bhagyashri made her lead debut in Telugu cinema with *Mr. Bachchan* (2024) opposite Ravi Teja, directed by Harish Shankar. She dubbed her own dialogues and won the SIIMA Award for Best Female Debut – Telugu. Her career gained further momentum with *Kingdom* (2025) opposite Vijay Deverakonda, *Andhra King Taluka* opposite Ram Pothineni, her Tamil debut *Kaantha* opposite Dulquer Salmaan (for which she received the Ananda Vikatan Cinema Award for Best Debut Actress – Tamil), and the commercially successful *Lenin* (2026) opposite Akhil Akkineni. Today, Bhagyashri Borse is regarded as a rising pan-Indian talent who has worked across Hindi, Telugu, and Tamil industries in a short span. Known for her dedication, language learning for roles, and grounded personality, she continues to build a strong presence with upcoming projects while remaining relatively private about her personal life. She is unmarried, enjoys travel and adventure activities, and has a pet dog named Zia.
