Her most recent major release is the Amazon Prime Video series *Vadhandhi Season 2 – The Mystery of Mani*, which premiered on 7 August 2026. In this Tamil crime thriller, Aparna plays Sumaya, the supportive wife of SI Moosa Raaza (portrayed by Sasikumar). The series follows a gripping investigation in Madurai after skeletal remains are discovered, blending mystery, social undertones, and personal drama. Before that, Aparna starred in the 2025 Malayalam film *Written & Directed by God*. She essayed the role of Lissy opposite Saiju Kurup and Sunny Wayne. The film is a comedy-drama with fantasy elements that follows a struggling filmmaker’s unexpected encounter with God, exploring themes of self-discovery and second chances.
