Aishwarya was born into a family connected to the film industry but faced many hardships. Her father, Rajesh, was a Telugu film actor who appeared in around 40–50 films . He passed away when she was young . Her mother, Nagamani, was a dancer and drama artist. Her grandfather, Amarnath, was also a Telugu actor and producer. Her aunt, Sri Lakshmi (a well-known Telugu comedienne), has acted in over 500 films. Aishwarya is the youngest of four siblings; sadly, two of her elder brothers died during her teenage years. She has described her upbringing as lower middle class in Chennai.
